All ages

These twelve stills capture my dream journey to my grandfather. The night before he died, he was in and out of consciousness. When he awoke, he told my grandmother he was visiting Cape North. A symbol of farewell to him; as this is where he said goodbye to the East forty years ago; and now to his body. In my digital drawing, the cardinal outside my bedroom window helps guide our dream reunion through place and time.

Nadine Leclerc is a BFA student in her final year at York University, with over ten years experience working as a multimedia and web designer in Toronto.
